Welcome everyone to Carbonica!

Or should we say also Willkommen, Bienvenue, Bienvenidos, Ongi etorri etc, as we are a truly global company.

Our website went live on 17 September, so we are barely 1 month old now. We are a very young baby. Funnily enough we were first noticed by web design companies - and they listed our site (or shall we say "shortlisted") amongst a selection of most "inspiring" and best designed sites.

Thank you for the compliment, it's much appreciated. We know our designers have done a great job, they are a hugely talented team. They've created a very unique and balanced look for the site, and they have worked around the central theme of the tree, which is what we are all about essentially, so we are all really pleased. It was amusing to see a huge volume of traffic of webbies having a peek at our site just to check out its design. It's not something we really anticipated. 

But definitely webbies can see beyond this (we know this from the amount of feedback they gave us about the CO2 calculator), so we are pleased that webbies care about climate change too. (By the way, so sorry to our friends in the United States that our fuel conversion does not do gallons - one gallon is roughly 3.79 litres, so do use 4 litres to the gallon as a rule of thumb! We hope to add this on a future reincarnation).

Hopefully there's something for everyone in our articles on climate change, global warming, carbon footprint, etc. Our goal is also to raise awareness and provide educational materials, so we are pleased if you feel you have learned something on this subject during your visit.
